Google Unveils Android and the Open Handset Alliance

The news about Google’s unveiling of Android (an open mobile platform), and the announcement of Open Handset Alliance is spreading like wildfires.

This initiative by Google to create a mobile platform that will work on various devices will benefit the consumer. Open is freedom and freedom is always most of the time good :D

Android’s Software Development Kit (SDK) will be made available on November 12.
